Around this time last year James Carstensen and I grabbed a coffee and kicked around some ideas. It was StartUpWoche, and the city was abuzz with events, people — and plenty of fresh thinking.

For us it meant launching three separate Meetups — bringing together some amazing people who have all in their own way contributed to what we’re launching today. Big thanks goes to them all — you know who you are!
And without further delay — Just in time for this year’s StartUpWoche:
#MixtapeMaps
The very first one is titled Ideas-into-Action — But first: Coffee.

What’s on this mixtape?
On side A you’ll find our favourite places to discuss creative projects — and drink great coffee. We present them — and other useful resources — here as part of a Creative Commons-based idea-incubation initiative.
On side B you’ll find a handy guide which can help you get an Idea-into-Action. And if you stay tuned to this publication, we’ll share a range of resources and scenarios throughout the week — and hopefully beyond.
How can I get one?
As part of our testing phase we’re distributing the first 1000 across town during #StartUpWoche — including at all the coffee shops we’ve recommended. Here’s a Google Map which has all the spots we’ve supplied so far.
So get out there, pick up one of the #MixtapeMaps, get wired — and get some ideas-into-action.
And want to meet some people, create connection — and ignite some new collaborations? Come along to our next event.
